Well we survived the first Nursery time, we had 6 there, with GB not happy about staying there without mum, so we had 5 stick around for the fun.

They enjoyed the puzzles at the beginning and spent quite a bit of time doing them - the new puzzle was a big hit, with all of them wanting a go - same with the cutting vegetables.

Story time was fine - two books- "cock a moo moo" and "the very hungry caterpiller" - the caterpiller was the firm favourite. GF fell asleep during story time but was awakened with the prospect of snacks - made pizza pinwheels - most liked them, and peanut butter squares. MA likes plain bread with nothing on it. ER and LR really enjoyed the pizza pinwheels - eating about 4 each. ER did the prayer - need to do a little chart. ER also enjoyed 'open shut them', laughing so much at the actions but didn't join in !

After snack we made the water books where they had to stick in pictures - GF and BH really got into that - BH made two books she was just loving the sticking!

Music time was fun we did a few songs - Eeensy weensy spider, Drip drop, rain is falling down, wash your dirty toes, I won't get out of the bath, here is the boat, row row your boat, terrible crocodile, Ya Ho Ya ho, ring a rosie.

Next week we will repeat - ring a rosie, ya ho, row row your boat.

After singing time we did a surprise bag where they got to pull things out of a bag without looking and got to play with what they pulled out.

Then it was clean up time - and taking the stools upstairs - they really like doing that job - I think we need to keep doing that!

During nursery we had a few helpers- Br Hyde to help us start out - thanks for entertaining them whilst I got myself organised! Sis Anya for helping at short notice, Sis Ansah for also helping out and Elise for coming and helping with the little ones - also Sis Clarkson from district who visited us for a little while! (we passed!)

Onto lesson # 2......
